       Built in 1875, the Emlenton Mill was one of the first steam powered grist mills in the United States. Later converted to gas and then electricity the Emlenton Mill was in operation for over 100 years. Located in the heart of historic district of Emlenton, the southern gateway to the Oil Heritage Region, the scenic Allegheny River, and the Allegheny River Bike trail, The Emlenton Mill is located along the Allegheny River two miles from Exit 42 or 45 of Interstate 80 in Venango County, Pennsylvania.
